Sealed bid proposal on forms prepared by Huitt-Zollars, Inc will be received by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA), 2600 Prospect Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter for the: Louisiana-Gibson Regional Drainage Facility. The Project consists of 2 bid lots. Bid Lot 1 includes the construction of 47 AF detention facility and outfall pipe. Bid Lot 2 (pending environmental clearance and funding availability) includes 2000 feet of road realignment. The Engineer’s Estimate for both bid lots total $1,800,000 (not including tax).
The following conditions apply to prospective bidders:
- Appropriate contracting license.
- Bidders must complete and include the AMAFCA CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION DISCLOSURE FORM with their bid.
Plans, specifications, and other contract documents may be obtained at Huitt-Zollars Inc, 333 Rio Rancho Drive NE, Suite 101, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124. Phone (505) 892-5141. Document copies may be picked up beginning, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (local time), weekdays (excluding holidays). A $100.00 deposit is required. Checks shall be made out to Huitt Zollars.
There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid tour held on the site at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Access to the site will be from Louisiana, south of Gibson; base access not required for Pre-bid.
AMAFCA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
Decisions of the State Labor Commissioner setting wage rates will be a part of the Contract.
