Sealed bid proposal on forms prepared by Wilson and Company, Inc., (hereinafter called Consultant) will be received by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA), 2600 Prospect Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Thursday, August 18, 2022, and will be read aloud immediately thereafter for the Valle de Oro Barr Spur Improvements Project. The Project includes a concrete water quality structure, reconstruction of earthen channel, construction of 10ft x 7ft and 8ft x 6ft concrete box culverts, water transmission pipeline relocation, grading, dewatering, and seeding.  The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $3,500,000 (not including tax).

The following conditions apply to prospective bidders:

  1. Appropriate Contracting License
  2. Bidders must complete and include the AMAFCA CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION DISCLOSURE FORM with their bid.

Plans, specifications, and other contract documents may be obtained at Wilson and Company, Inc., (505) 348-4000, 4401 Masthead Street NE, Suite 150 Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109. Document copies may be picked up beginning Wednesday, July 20, 2022, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (local time), weekdays (excluding holidays). A $100.00 deposit fee is required, checks payable to Wilson and Company, Inc.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for Valle de Oro Barr Improvements Project held at the project site at 9:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 4, 2022. The conference will take place at the Barr Spur channel west of 2nd Street SE near the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge in Albuquerque, NM.

AMAFCA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.

Decisions of the State Labor Commissioner setting wage rates will be a part of the Contract.
