The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA) seeks bids for leasing real property located on the west side 2nd Street and north of Shirk Lane, adjacent to the South Diversion Channel and contains two (2) tracts, known as the Herring Property.

The first tract contains approximately 14.55 acres, and the legal description is Parcel 7 plat of AMAFCA South Diversion Channel Drainage Right of Way-Phase 2 Parcels 1 through 7. UPC: 101305203018430117.  The second tract at this location contains approximately 0.60 acres and is used for access.  The legal description of this tract is Tract 7A1 MRGCD Map 51.

Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the AMAFCA office located at 2600 Prospect Ave. NE, Albuquerque NM 87107.  All portions of the Bid packet must be completed.  Late Bids will NOT be accepted.  Request for Bids may be obtained in person at AMAFCA’s office or via email.

All Bids will be opened in public on October 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at AMAFCA’s offices, 2600 Prospect NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  All Bids, together with a recommendation of award, will be submitted to AMAFCA’s Board of Directors at their monthly meeting on October 26, 2023.  The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any technicalities.

The Procurement Code, N.M.S.A. 1978 §§13‑1‑28 through 13‑1‑199, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation.  In addition, the New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks.
