Following the public bid reading, bids will be considered by AMAFCA and an award of the Contract, if made, will be at the next regularly scheduled AMAFCA Board of Directors Meeting. The Project includes installation of two new grade control structures, bank protection, maintenance ramps, and additional scour protection along with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System compliance. The engineers’ estimate for this work is $6,500,000.00 (not including tax).
The following conditions apply to prospective bidders:
- Appropriate contractor’s license (GF-4 or GF-98 or other satisfactory classification).
- Bidders must complete and include the AMAFCA CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION DISCLOSURE FORM with their bid.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held at Tuscany Park, Bandelier Dr, Albuquerque, NM 87114, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 9:00am (local time).
AMAFCA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
Decisions of the U.S. Department of Labor and the New Mexico State Labor Commissioner setting wage rates will be a part of the contract.
