The Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA) has prepared a draft FY 2025 Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) revision as a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) for submittal to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) as required by the Middle Rio Grande Watershed Based Permit (NMR04A000) for coverage under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
A copy of the draft FY 2025 SWMP update is available for public review and comment here.
Any person may submit written comments pertaining to the SWMP within 30 days of the publishing of this notice. Comments should be directed to Mr. Patrick Chavez, PE, Storm Water Quality Engineer, at 2600 Prospect Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107 or at [email protected] via email. Comments relating to the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of the SWMP may result in changes to the SWMP.
