The Ladera Dam 5 Diversion Project provides a new diversion from Dam 5 to the West I-40 Channel to provide additional capacity within the overall Ladera Dam system.
This diversion consists of a ported water quality riser, 2250 feet of 42” to 72” diameter storm drainpipe, concrete junction box, and a shotcrete outlet basin.
The project will also improve AMAFCA access and security of the existing dam, future diversion facilities, and the existing West I-40 Arroyo via added maintenance roads, and improved access ramps and gates.
