Zuni-Pennsylvania Detention Pond Project
The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA) is seeking competitive bids for the Zuni-Pennsylvania Detention Pond Project. The Project includes construction of a new detention pond, new retaining walls, storm drain improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalk, fencing, art, and landscaping along with NPDES compliance. The engineers’ estimate for this work is $3,850,000 (not including tax).
An optional pre-bid conference will be held at the project site located at 8000 Zuni Road SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 on August 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (local time).

To access the electronic bid form, download the bidding documents and click the ‘Online Bid’ button or Online Bidding ‘Available’ button on the bid posting page. After the bid closes, bidders will be charged a fee of $42.00 for successful bid submission. Bid submission will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, August 25, 2025, and will be opened and read aloud immediately following via virtual meeting.
Bids will ONLY be received and accepted through vBid via QuestCDN.com.
The following conditions apply to prospective bidders:
- Appropriate contractor’s license (GF-4 or GF-98 or other satisfactory classification).
- Bidders must complete and submit the AMAFCA CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION DISCLOSURE FORM with their bid.
AMAFCA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
Decisions of the State Labor Commissioner setting wage rates will be a part of the contract.
