The Hubbell Dam is an AMAFCA flood control facility located near the southwest corner of Rio Bravo Blvd. and Coors Blvd. in the southwest valley of Bernalillo County. This project is an expansion of the Dam to increase the storage capacity of the facility.
AMAFCA is partnering with the City of Albuquerque (COA) to expand the Dam into the Hubbell Oxbow Open Space, which is managed by the City’s Open Space Division.

This project is currently contracted for conceptual planning, public involvement, and preliminary design phases. Future work includes final design and construction phases which will be added as the design progresses.
